Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Ripperwing Entertainment LLC ("Ripperwing", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit our website at ripperwing.com (the "Website") or play any of our games (the "Games"). Together, the Website and the Games are our "Services".

Ripperwing Entertainment LLC is the data controller responsible for your personal information.

  • Ripperwing Entertainment LLC
  • 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200 Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States
  • Email: help@ripperwing.com

If you have any question about this policy or about your personal information, contact us at help@ripperwing.com.

2. Summary

  • The Website has no analytics and no advertising trackers, and it does not set cookies itself.
  • If you apply to our content creator program on the Website, we store your application in Google Firebase to review it and contact you.
  • Our Games use the services of the platforms you play on (such as Steam and Epic Online Services) to run multiplayer, achievements and similar features.
  • Our Games may send pseudonymous crash reports and gameplay analytics so we can fix bugs and improve performance.
  • Purchases and payments are handled by the store you buy from, not by us. We never see your payment card details.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information.
  • You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time by emailing help@ripperwing.com.

3. Information we collect

3.1 When you visit the Website

  • Server logs. The Website is a static site hosted on Firebase Hosting, a Google service. When you load a page, the hosting servers automatically record technical information such as your IP address, browser type (user agent), the page requested, the referring page and the date and time of the request. These logs are used to deliver the Website, keep it secure and diagnose problems.
  • Web fonts. The Website loads its typeface from Google Fonts. To deliver the font files, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and user agent. Google describes how it handles this data in its own privacy policy.
  • No analytics or trackers. The Website does not set cookies itself and does not use analytics, advertising pixels, social media trackers or similar technologies.
  • Spam protection on forms. To protect our application form from spam and abuse, the form uses a hidden spam trap field and limits how often it can be sent from your browser, using your browser's local storage (not a cookie). We may also use Google reCAPTCHA (through Firebase App Check) on the form page. If it is enabled, Google receives information such as your IP address, browser and device details and how you interact with the page, and may set or read cookies, to tell whether the form is being used by a person. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to reCAPTCHA.

3.2 When you contact us or apply through a form

  • Email. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you choose to write.
  • Publishing applications. The Website links to Google Forms for publishing applications. If you submit that form, we receive the information you enter, which may include your name, email address, studio or company name, information about your game, links to your social media channels and any other details you choose to share. Google Forms is operated by Google on our behalf.

3.3 When you apply to our content creator program

Content creator applications are collected on our Website at ripperwing.com/creators and stored in Google Cloud Firestore, part of Google Firebase, which acts as our service provider. When you apply, we collect:

  • your name or handle and your contact email address;
  • your role (for example, content creator, streamer, press or agency);
  • the platforms you create on, your channel or profile links and, if you choose, a link to an example of your work;
  • your approximate audience size, your main content language or languages and the type of content you make;
  • which of our Games you are interested in, your preferred platform for game keys and, if you choose, the number of keys you need, your country or region and any notes you add;
  • your answers to the consent checkboxes (agreement to the program terms and Terms of Service, confirmation that you read this Privacy Policy and, if you choose, whether you want news and playtest invites), the version of those documents you agreed to, and the date and time your application was received.

We use this information to review your application, to decide whether to send you game keys or invite you to playtests, to contact you about your application and, only if you opted in, to send you news and playtest invites. We cannot review an application without the required fields. If you opt in to news and playtest invites, you can opt out at any time as described below.

News and playtest invites are optional. The checkbox for them is not required, and you can apply to the program without ticking it.

You can withdraw this consent at any time by entering your email address at https://ripperwing.com/unsubscribe or by emailing help@ripperwing.com. We process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. Withdrawing consent does not withdraw your application.

To be able to show what you agreed to, we store with your application whether you ticked the news and playtest checkbox, the version of the checkbox wording you saw, and the date and time we received your application.

When you send an unsubscribe request, we store the email address you enter and the date and time of the request, so that we can remove you from our list and keep a record that you opted out. The unsubscribe form uses the same spam protection as the application form (a hidden spam trap field and a limit on how often it can be sent from your browser, stored in your browser's local storage).

3.4 When you play our Games

The exact information depends on the Game, the platform you play on and the features you use. It may include:

  • Steam. If you play through Steam, we and Valve may process your Steam ID, your Steam persona (display) name, lobby, matchmaking and multiplayer session information, achievement and statistics data, and your IP address when it is needed to connect you to other players (for example, peer-to-peer connections) or to a game server.
  • Epic Online Services (EOS). Some Games may use Epic Online Services for features such as cross-platform play, lobbies and matchmaking. In that case we and Epic Games may process an EOS product user ID, lobby and session information, your display name and connection information such as your IP address. If you choose to link or sign in with an Epic Games account, Epic shares account information with the Game according to the permissions you approve.
  • Multiplayer and communication. When you play online with others, your display name, in-game identifiers and in-game actions are visible to the other players in your session.
  • Crash reports and gameplay analytics. Our Games may automatically send crash reports and gameplay analytics. This can include crash logs and error details, performance measurements (such as frame rate and loading times), device and system specifications (such as operating system, processor, graphics card, memory and screen resolution), game version, and gameplay events (such as sessions started, levels reached or features used). This information is pseudonymous: it is linked to a random or platform identifier, not to your name. We use it only to find and fix problems and to improve our Games.
  • Support requests. If you contact us about a Game, we receive the information you send us, such as your email address, platform identifiers, screenshots or log files.

3.5 Purchases and payments

When you buy one of our Games or any in-game content, the purchase is processed by the platform you buy it from (for example, Steam or the Epic Games Store). That platform collects and handles your payment information under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your payment card or bank details. We may receive limited sales information, such as confirmation that a license exists, so that the Game works correctly.

4. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • deliver, operate and secure the Website and the Games;
  • enable multiplayer features, lobbies, matchmaking, cross-play, achievements and statistics;
  • diagnose crashes, fix bugs and improve performance, stability and gameplay;
  • respond to your emails, support requests and applications, including reviewing publishing and content creator applications;
  • prevent cheating, fraud, abuse and security incidents;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not sell it.

5. Legal bases for processing (EU, EEA and UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR:

  • Performance of a contract: to provide the Games and their online features you choose to use.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate and secure the Website, to diagnose crashes and improve our Games through pseudonymous analytics, to prevent cheating, spam and abuse, and to review publishing and content creator applications and respond to messages. We only rely on legitimate interests when they are not overridden by your rights and interests.
  • Consent: where a specific feature asks for your consent, such as receiving news and playtest invites after applying to our content creator program. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
  • Legal obligation: where we must process information to comply with the law.

6. How we share information

We share personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers that process data on our behalf, such as website hosting and application storage (Google Firebase Hosting and Cloud Firestore), spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA, if enabled), forms (Google Forms), file sharing (Google Drive), email and crash reporting or analytics providers. They may use the data only to provide their services to us.
  • Platform providers such as Valve (Steam) and Epic Games (Epic Online Services), which operate the features described in section 3.4 and act under their own privacy policies.
  • Other players, who can see your display name and in-game activity during online sessions.
  • Legal and safety reasons, where disclosure is required by law or needed to protect the rights, safety or property of our players, us or others.
  • Business transfers, if Ripperwing is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

We do not sell or share your personal information.

7. Third-party services and links

The Website links to services run by other companies, including Steam, Epic Games, Google Forms, Google Drive, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X (Twitter) and Discord. When you follow these links or use these services, the third party's own terms and privacy policy apply. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

8. International data transfers

Ripperwing Entertainment LLC is based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland to a country that has not been found to provide an adequate level of protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum where applicable), or on our providers' certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where available. You can contact us to request more information about these safeguards.

Content creator applications and unsubscribe requests are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, part of Google Firebase, in the United States (Google's nam5 multi-region).

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Website server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period according to its standard retention settings.
  • Crash reports and gameplay analytics are kept for as long as they are useful for fixing and improving a Game, and generally no longer than 24 months, after which they are deleted or fully anonymized.
  • Emails, support requests and applications, including content creator applications stored in Firebase, are kept for as long as needed to handle your request or application and for a reasonable period afterwards, generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless an ongoing business relationship requires otherwise.
  • News and playtest invite preferences are kept until you opt out, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you.
  • Consent records (whether you opted in to news and playtest invites, the version of the wording you saw and when) are kept together with your application and, if you opt out, for no longer than 24 months after you opt out, so that we can show what you agreed to and that we respected your choice.
  • Unsubscribe requests (the email address and the date and time of the request) are kept for no longer than 24 months after the request, so that we do not contact you again by mistake.
  • Platform data held by Steam or Epic Games is retained under their own policies.

We may keep information longer where the law requires it or where it is needed to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access, including limiting access to those who need it and relying on established providers for hosting and platform services. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

These rights apply to everyone who uses our Services, wherever you live. You can ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • Delete your personal information;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
  • Receive your information in a portable format (data portability);
  • Withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent. This does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

How to make a request

Email help@ripperwing.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and describe what you would like us to do. To help us find your information, include the email address or platform identifier (for example, your Steam ID or display name) you used with our Services. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, normally within one month. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Right to lodge a complaint (EU, EEA and UK)

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first, so please contact us.

12. Children's privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Where local law sets a higher age for consent to data processing (for example, up to 16 in parts of the EEA), we do not knowingly process data from children below that age without appropriate consent. The platforms our Games are distributed on also apply their own age requirements. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, contact help@ripperwing.com and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we release new Games or features or when the law changes. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know, such as a notice on the Website or in our Games. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.
